Saturday July 24, 2010 Simi Valley California
We arrived at the Ronald Reagan Memorial Library by 9:45 this morning. The building opened at 10 a.m., so first we went and had brunch overlooking the Simi Valley. What a spectacular view. We were there for almost four hours and saw everything they had on display today. The research library will open on Reagan's 100th birthday, February 6, 2011. They allowed photography throughout with NO FLASH!!!! We then headed for our Motel Room so we can settle down a bit before going to Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church here in Simi Valley. Our room wasn't ready for an hour, so we sat in the shade by the pool and played Farkel. Had a Chinese buffet for dinner. Tired tonight.
