Dublin Ireland day 2

Well, good morning!!! After an 11 hour flight on Aer Lingus, we arrived in Dublin at 9:30 in the morning. They treated us excellent.like royalty on the airplane which was packed with high school students from Grass Valley choir. We ate two meals and had snacks and water in between. I read my Barack Obama book and Ed read the magazine provided and we watched two movies: Marley and Me and The Secret Life of Bees. Both were excellent. When we arrived in Dublin it took us almost 3 hours to get through the huge airport, where we must have walked at least a mile to get to customs and pick up the luggage...first on last off, and to get the car. We found our Bed and breakfast. The hostess is a lovely lady and although we were early, she allowed us to come in anyway and we slept for about 4 hours, then got up and went to dinner after a nice ride along the Irish sea. The weather is beautiful and the natives tell us that is not normal. Maybe we brought the weather with us. HOORAY!!! We had a nice dinner prepared by a Greek man in an Irish Restaurant. He was delightful. I asked him "You have a different accent..you aren't Irish, are you?" "Do I look Irish?" "NO, absolutely not, maybe French, Spanish." "Well, you're close" I'm from the beautiful isle of Greece....came here to learn how to drink Irish beer." Dinner was really good. Auggie is doing a great job of driving on the left side of the highway. There are "roundabouts" at every corner practically and the streets are very bumpy and narrow. Today we are going to find St. Patricks Cathedral and the book of Kells at Trinity college. We will be in touch now. Kiss our grandkids for us, and save a big hug for yourselves. We love you all, Mom and Dad, grandpa and Grandma .
