Sunday July 26, 2009

This morning we started out from Calgary and went east and south down to the Glacier National Park in northern Montana, so we are back in the good old USA. The ride was beautiful through grassy fields filled with beautiful wildflowers in red, pink, yellow, blue, lavender, and white. There are even Bear weeds which resemble polyps made of dandelion seeds. They are so pretty. We ran into a thunder/lightening/rain storm after we got out of Glacier Park and it was still raining after we came from dinner. The park was fabulous. We have been there before but we went from south to north last time. Today we went from north to south. Did not see any animals, just the human kind and there were plenty of those. We got the last room at the Super 8 Motel in Whitefish...the honeymoon suite no less. Now honestly, mirrors over the bed and a Jacuzzi, fireplace and living/dining room. We didn't even live this high when we were on our first honeymoon!!!!!! I told dad that mirrors might be a bit scary at this point. We're laughing! Have a great week! We love you, m and d

Kim--if Isabella calls, tell her we are still on vacation. She should know that but she called and wanted to know where I was since I hadn't been to L of M in 3 weeks. She and Carla are doing my ministry for me. Maybe she's having a senior moment.
